Looking back to 2007, I’d say it was indeed a great year. Lots of ups and downs; guess what? God was indeed faithful, keeping His words all the way.

I can not recount all He did for me, for you, I mean for us all. What I owe him is a big THANK YOU! Is it for preserving my life? Ok. Do you think it was just once he showed up………… was much more than that .., was several times.

From armed robbery attacks & accidents like Fumosh will say I can’t but give some ‘komole’ ’to Baba God for keeping me.

But also I’ll like to say a very big thank you to you for making the year Fun, Exciting and Fulfilling.

I won’t doubt God

So sorry I have been quiet for long, just been going trough some processes of life. Tope thanks for your encouragements
Today I will ask some questions; I have answers to some,
And maybe you will be able to help out with others.

What makes you continue, though all is against you?
What gives you strength to go on even when everyone thinks you should quit?
I hear you say convictions, hope, God, faith, oh stubbornness?
Why does God watch when you go trough hard times?
Why does he choose to be quiet?
I just remembered a song now and it kind of like put a ray of hope in my spirit

“Life has a way of bringing bad times that can mess around with your peace of mind. Don’t let the trouble on the outside take the joy you have on the inside. Oh I will do anything to make you smile again, to know you are loved again, I will do any thing to hold your hand again……”

Are you going through stuff in your work place, relationship, marriage, school, your friendship? Have you trusted someone with it and he/she’s failed you. Do you really think God’s no longer interested in your case? Think of the words of Detrick Haddon’s song above and know that God is closer than you think even know it. Don’t give up now, don’t doubt him now

One thing I am sure of and I know is, God is God all by himself, He does not change.
He makes all things beautiful in His on time.
The people you keep believing in and they fail you are not God; they are just human beings like yourself. They are mortal God is Immortal. He’s the only true God.
Though I am pushed on every side, my eyes are focused on the prize,

HE DELIVERS US FROM THEM ALL!

Yesterday the 27^th of August, 2007 at about 10am I was going to get to the bank and also work with a colleague of mine in Enugu, however, I forgot some documents needed for my transactions so decided to turn back. At some point, I noticed a bus was following me but really did not bother ‘Cos I felt it was a commuter bus. ‘It really was a commuter bus,’ for, before I knew it, these guys had crossed me – three of them came down with guns and two were still in the bus.

I have read books and watched movies and seen people faced with these kinds of situations, and believe me its good- no- better to watch or read, but not happening to you!The scene forced me to a halt, my thinking was accelerated, should I come down – surrender my keys – or even run, scream for help (no one could have heard, my glass was wound up). Before I could make a move, one of the little devils, was already by my side trying to break through my glass. The thought of killing him and asking God to forgive me later was all that filled my mind.

I engaged my reverse gear, broke into a fence and was able to pull away from the advancing marauders. From the side, I saw them chamber their rounds attempting to shoot, off I went! Zooming off to no where! All I could think of was escape! Escape! E-S-C-A-P-E!

The next moment I was at my distributor’s office. Once there my resolve gave way and I started crying. What I was not sure of was, where the tears for the damage on my car? For God spearing me? I can’t even tell why I cried, ALL I did was cry. I pulled myself together, got to the police station and was told some of the guys had been arrested.

What a testimonial for the cops! Well, also conscious OKADA (bike) who man saw them while on the attack and alerted the police. In my heart, I swore – I will kill this guy, slap him, just do something to make sure I…..not really sure of what I could do or not do.

No wonder it is written ‘The Righteous Person Faces Many Troubles, But the Lord Comes to the Rescue Each Time’. In Deed, God came to my rescue. What if they opened fire? What if I died in the process? Did I hear you say God forbid? What if they made away with my car? Did I hear you say it again? Are you asking? Like where was ……..HE DELIVERS US ALL THE TIME EVEN WHEN WE KNEW IT NOT!
